 Character Packet Checklist
Items needed for Character Packet:
- Character Profile (3 pages)
This write-up on your character should be saved as a Word Document, and should cover your character's life from birth to the present. Use your character's Life Sheet and the interview questions as guides for character development. Please include a photo of your character. Font size should be no larger than 12 (Times New Roman).
- Home Inventory Database Report (1-2 pages)
This report
is generated by the MS Access home inventory database you set-up.
Your database should list all of your valuable material objects
in your Buck Manor apartment.
This is both for insurance purposes, as well as for calculating
moving expenses and property tracking.
- 1st Budget Spreadsheet - living in Duluth (1 page)
Using MS Excel, construct a monthly budget spreadsheet, based on their living expenses while living at Buck Manor in Duluth. Be sure to incorporate the following formulas:
| Net Monthly Income . . . | Annual Gross Income / (12 * .66) |
| Tally of a Range . . . | =sum(X1 : Y1) |
| Difference of Cells . . . | =sum(X1 - Y2) |
For the Savings Category of your budget, use The Money Works program to calculate the necessary items (retirement goal & monthly contribution; emergency nestegg goal & monthly contribution) .
- 1st Finacial Plan - living in Duluth
Using The Money Works program to calculate the necessary items (retirement goal; retirement - monthly contribution; emergency nestegg goal; and, emergency nestegg - monthly contribution) , download and fillout the Financial Plan Worksheet, and same as a Word document in your folder.
- Rental Agreement - for new apartment
- Character Resume (1-2 pages)
Construct a resume for your character using MS Word's Resume' Wizard, following the list of required items that all resume' s should tell (to see another student's Resume' click here).
- Letter of Intent / Letter of Introduction
A Letter of Intent is used to introduce your character to the company that you are sending your resume' to. It also highlights their particular strengths and interests that are relevent to the Job that they are applying for.
- New Job description
- 2nd Budget Spreadsheet - living at new residence (1 page)
Alter / edit your Buck Manor living expenses monthly budget spreadsheet so that it incorporates your new expenses and assets (from your new residence, and new job). Don't forget to create either a pie chart, or a bar graph, for your new Financial Plan.
- 2nd Finacial Plan - living at new residence
Using The Money Works program, re-calculate the necessary items (retirement goal; retirement - monthly contribution; emergency nestegg goal; and, emergency nestegg - monthly contribution), alter / edit
Financial Plan. Remember to attach either a pie chart, or a bar graph, from your new monthly budget.
