Applications

The main goal of this unit is to improve the students' ability to utilize computer applications in real-life situations. High level skills are developed using the most current software in applications such as database, spreadsheet, sorting, word processing and desktop publishing. Through hands-on activities, lecture, and role-playing, students deal with some of the life skills necessary for becoming a self-reliant, responsible individual, such as decision making, challenges and choices, budgeting and money management, personal and professional social skills, and time management.
